Videography was new to me, though I do have a photography background, so the colour grading made sense by default. I have enjoyed the learning curve thus far, and I am always striving to learn more. But, I am wholly realistic about my abilities being amateur – which is kind of the point is it not? As in not trying to be a professional – no such mindset.
There’s no distinction between my content and that of other moto-vloggers. To that end, I do not parody another’s work, and keep it original and real [to me] and focus on what is on my mind; I do not follow trends either. I like to keep it all very real, and all very much my perspective.
I hope you enjoy my content. For anyone who doesn’t like my content? Well, they do not have to watch do they…
Join me on my adventures dear reader, you are most welcome!
Anything I decide to review is my bona fide opinion. So, consequently, I am thorough in my appraisal.
Mainly it’s due to budgetary constraints; though equally, I really enjoy the time away in the countryside.
Clichés aside, there’s a lot to be gained from camping. I enjoy the peace and solitude if affords me; especially time to wind-down from a long day on the bike.
I also enjoy time with other bikers on ‘site too if present. Very often I find company with like-minded souls.
Invest in a good sleep-system, and you’ll not regret it. Good rest is essential. If you are already tired and cannot recuperate overnight, then the following day is going to be difficult at best. Hence.
Inclement weather is always a consideration. This is why I tend to go at short notice [where feasible] so as to avoid any heavy, or prolonged precipitation as much as is possible.
There is not much joy in packing-away wet clobber; worse still, wet riding gear and camping gear. Sets the ‘tone’ for the day in some instances.
Usually, I venture off the main route for provisioning on a daily basis, thus avoiding any potential panic later-on.
If you want to go camping, go.
Ignore the naysayers and enjoy yourself.
I usually tour alone. Though I am thinking of organising some tours in the future, as I am asked regularly; but for now, no.
My tours are usually journaled for the blog / vlog later-on of course. In principle, this means I need to stop more regularly than as per a non blog bike trip. I know that the two can be combined, but it’s how I prefer to do things at present.
Keep an eye on the website, my social’s, or the RSS feed for regular updates.
Sometimes I do, yes! Equally, I am just as happy to maybe join yours if time permits.
Maybe. If you’re local to me, and fancy a ride-out, drop me a line.
I do not ride as though I am trying to qualify for a moto-gp race, so, neither should you in-other-words – I’m no slow-poke either, just have to state the obvious here.
